Pachukti Mesa Tradition

The Pachakuti Mesa Healing Tradition is a ceremony around a five-directional healing mesa will officially open our EVOLVING Tampa Bay event in the center of the field. Born

in the high Andes of Heart Island (Peru) and lovingly carried to Turtle Island (the U.S.) by Oscar Miro Quesada, the Pachakuti Mesa healing tradition is an invitation to all,  healing

body, emotions, mind and spirit…our whole!

Each of the five directions of the mesa holds and heals an aspect of ourselves:

· South holds body (Pachamama, our beloved earth mother, represented by a stone), physical healing;

· West holds emotions (Mamakilla, grandmother moon, represented by a shell), emotional healing;

· North holds spirit (Wiracocha, great spirit, represented by a feather), spiritual healing;

· East holds mind (Inti, fire, represented by a white candle), mental healing;

· The Center is a rainbow bridge, connecting and grounding all and calling us to service (Quichi, represented by one’s most sacred object), soul healing.

While at Evolving Tampa Bay, please visit the mesa. You are invited, to blow your prayer (by a simple breath) into the direction that is inviting healing in you right now. After blowing your prayer for yourself into the mesa, you are invited to blow prayers for others or for our beloved planet into the central ground of the mesa.

Please feel free to bring a stone, a shell, a feather, a white candle (please do not light), or a sacred object of your own to place on the mesa. You may retrieve your object when you are ready to leave the gathering.
